| The Council for Industry and Higher Education (CIHE) is a high level partnership between leaders from business and academia. It develops an agreed agenda on the learning and research issues that affect our global competitiveness and the personal development of lifelong learners.
The retirement next June of the current Chief Executive, Richard Brown, presents an opportunity for someone who is an articulate and powerful communicator with the presence to impact at senior levels of government, business and academia.
The successful candidate will have proven ability in leading a small team, high level networking and interpersonal skills and knowledge of , and the ability to articulate, the key issues affecting both business and higher education. Candidates are likely to be in senior management positions in academia, business or Government and to have experience of working across at least two of these sectors.
